Tallgrass Film Festival Reveals First Virtual Selections, October 20–27: Kansas Premieres, World Premieres & Award Winners

Wichita, Kan. (September 19, 2025) —Tallgrass Film Festival is happy to announce the virtual portion of the 23rd Annual Tallgrass Film Festival. A highlight of films centered on Kansas will be available for pre-order starting Friday, September 19th, 2025. This selection and more will be available to view starting noon October 20th and ending at midnight on October 27th.
Tallgrass has also invited award-winning films to participate in our virtual showcase following the in-person portion of the festival from noon October 20th – midnight October 27th. Films will have a 48 Hour watch window. Not all awarded films will be available to view online. Some films may also have geoblocking, which limits where they are able to be viewed. All films that participate virtually have the opportunity to retain 50% of the ticket sales, a great way to support films you love.

Since its founding in 2003, Tallgrass has grown into one of the largest independent film festivals in the Midwest, welcoming thousands of attendees each year. The festival has been recognized nationally for its commitment to showcasing diverse voices, supporting women and LGBTQ+ filmmakers, and fostering community engagement through film.
