Accessibility

For any accessibility questions, contact us at 316-202-8207 or info@tallgrassfilm.org and we will be sure to help in any way!

Captioning / Transcription / Audio Descriptions / ASL

Films are labeled in the online film guide on Eventive if the film has open or closed captioning or if an audio description version is available. If a film or Q&A is not accessible, please contact us for post-transcription. Captions are also available for a majority of our year-round screenings in the Tallgrass Film Center. If a film has captions it will be noted in Eventive.

Please let us know if you would like ASL services for a specific in person film or event.

Lines

Have trouble standing in lines? We have accessible seating for you by the theater door to allow you first entry into the theater. Please see an usher for assistance. Need assistance during a movie? Just reach out to any of the ushers or venue managers.

Accessible Buildings

All venues the festival uses are accessible for wheelchair or mobility tool users via ramp or elevator.

Low Sensory Area

All venues have a quiet space if needed. Please let an usher or volunteer know if assistance is needed.

Assistant Badge

We will offer a free badge to your health assistant as needed upon attending the festival with a purchased badge.
