ABOUT THE COMPETITION:

In TAKE 36, we task creatives to conceive, develop, write, shoot, edit, and submit a short film made in just 36 hours! And to keep things interesting, we will have some required criteria that must be present in all submitted films! The competition kick-off was held on the evening of Friday, June 24, and wrapped up 36 hours later on Sunday morning, June 26. Anyone is welcome to participate! We have had filmmakers from the local middle and high schools compete and seasoned professionals and screened LIVE in front of an audience. Several awards are up for grabs, including cash prizes selected by our judges.
