WHEN IS THE FESTIVAL & HOW CAN I WATCH?
The virtual festival will be from October 16th-25th and will include a drive-in component at the Starlite Drive-In.
I PURCHASED A PASS PRIOR TO THE SHIFT TO VIRTUAL. CAN I STILL USE IT?
Of course! We have sent emails to provide our current pass holders letting them know they have a credit voucher equal to the value of your 2020 TALLPass purchase for virtual festival events.
If you were a current pass or ticket holder and do not have an email, please check your junk mail for an email from Tallgrass Film Festival. If you have not received an email please reach out to boxoffice@tallgrassfilm.org to be assisted immediately.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A VIRTUAL TALLPASS AND A FILMPASS?
This year’s TALLPass will include a VIP Box – available for pick up and full of items — including food & drink kits to help you bring the Tallgrass party straight to your home. The TALLPass also includes access to all of our virtual parties and happy hours.
The FILMpass grants its holder access to all streamable content, but excludes access to VIP parties and boxes.
CAN I WATCH FILMS AT ANY TIME OR ARE THEY SCHEDULED?
Immediately following our Opening Night screening on Friday, October 16th, we will begin rolling out new content nightly throughout the fest. This will be a mix of features and shorts programs and each new rollout will populate on the app each time you log in. For questions on the full roll out schedule please visit our film guide (coming soon!).
There are a select few films that have a date and/or time restrictions. Specific information on each film and its debut date and availability will be accessible on our film guide.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN IF A FILM IS GEOBLOCKED?
A geoblocked film is only accessible in certain regions, and cannot be streamed elsewhere. Many films this year will be geoblocked to Kansas, MO, and the tri-state area. We will indicate which films are blocked in our public film guide, as well as on our ticketing system and within the streaming app. All films are available for streaming in Kansas.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN IF A FILM HAS LIMITED TICKETING?
A film with limited ticketing means there is a capacity max on the number of times it can be streamed. If you notice a film with limited ticketing, we recommend watching it first as these films are capable of selling out and expiring from the platform once the limit has been reached.
HOW DO I WATCH FILMS ON MY TV?
There are four methods to watch films on your TV:
