Become a Tallgrass Producer
Your film community. All year.
Tallgrass Film Center is a place for Wichita’s film community to come together year-round. To discover film. Talk about it. Make it. Meet people who care about it. And help shape what happens next.
Tallgrass Producers is our new membership program for the people who want to be part of building that community.
Whether you’re a filmmaker, a Letterboxd obsessive, someone who wants a film club to call home, or simply someone who believes Wichita needs a place for independent film, there’s a place for you here.
What does a Producer get?
Help shape what happens here.
Producers have a voice in the future of the Film Center, from programming and special events to new series, conversations and community partnerships.
Connect with your people. Or build your own thing.
Join Film Center affinity groups organized around shared interests in film, or help create one around the films, filmmakers and ideas you care about.
Maybe that’s horror. Documentary. Local filmmaking. A film book club. Cult movies. Screenwriting. Animation. A particular filmmaker or genre.
You bring the interest. We want to help create the place to gather around it.
Free popcorn. Every visit.
Because some membership benefits don’t need to be complicated.
What are you helping make possible?
A Film Center isn’t much without a film community.
Producer memberships create ongoing support for the people, programs and ideas that bring the space to life. That can mean helping cover screening and licensing costs, supporting community-led programming, creating opportunities for filmmakers to connect and giving different film communities in Wichita a place to gather.
Some Producers will come to watch.
Some will stay to talk.
Some will make things.
Some will organize.
Some will help make things financially possible.
All of them help keep film happening in Wichita.
Choose what works for you.
Every Producer belongs to the same community and receives the same benefits. Giving more doesn’t move you into a different class of membership. It simply provides more support for the Film Center and the community we’re building together.
Become a Producer for as low as $10/month, or provide additional support at $20 or $40/month. Annual memberships are also available at $120, $240, and $480/year.
We want everyone who wants to be part of this community to have a place here. If cost is a barrier, scholarship memberships are available. Email info@tallgrassfilm.org to learn more.
All Producer memberships are automatically renewed.
